Overview
About Me
I am friendly and communicative person, currently living in Prague
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing to meet new friends and make my travels more interesting. Honestly I also want to use the advantages of it: staying with a local person is always better in the sense of getting in touch with the place and its typical culture. I also spent one year solo-travelling around the world, which was one of the reasons why I joined Couchsurfing. More info under the link below.
Interests
I started playing piano when I was 14 (during the studies at the musical high school). Soon I got addicted to Jazz and Blues style. Nowadays I still play more for fun, sometimes I am invited to play in public in a bar.
I also love juggling with various things as it's a great way of staying in the present moment. However, I still learn to manage 5 balls :)
I am fluent in German and English (currently working as IT support using these 2 languages actively) and I'm trying to improve my spanish as it's been very helpful during my solo-travel in South America and I love what it sounds like.
My biggest today's hobby is definitely hiking (made 3500 kilometres in almost 4 months only by foot to Santiago de Compostela in Spain starting in my home town. I love the freedom, minimalism - the fact that all you need to live fits in a single backpack.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Jazz, Blues, Rock'n'roll, electronic music as well (depends on mood)
Movies: Trueman show with Jim Carrey blew my mind
Books: I consider the Harry Potter story to be my most favorite one, nowadays reading books from a german philosopher Eckhart Tolle or Neale Donald Walsch.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are more of them, I'd pick up following two:
I went Camino de Santiago this year (2017) - spent more than 3 months on a pilgrimage, hiking through Europe, sleeping usually in the nature, meeting up interesting individuals from all over the world, walked altogether almost 3500 kilometres.
I've been riding more than 2000 km through the whole Vietnam on a motorbike, partially in a group, partially alone.
I am sure more amazing experiences are still awaiting me in the future.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be glad to share or teach my hosts (or guests) anything I am good at (activities already described).
