Overview
About Me
I grew up on a farm in Georgia, went to college and grad school in the area, and now live in Atlanta. I've done a lot of domestic travel, I've been to 38 of the 50 states. I want to do more international travel. I studied construction management for undergrad and historic preservation in grad school. I love all aspects of structures, building them, designing, and preserving them. I especially like historic architecture, of every style. I also enjoy anything concerning plants. I have lots of potted plants in my place, and maintain gardens at my parent's property. I love an adventure, learning something new, and meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly to travel cheaply and see as much of this awesome planet as I can. The insights a local can give about a new place are priceless and contribute greatly to the experience.
I also would like to give back and host travelers, and hopefully meet interesting people.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can share what I like about Atlanta, which mostly is concentrated in its historic neighborhoods. Atlanta is hard to see without a car or bike, but I would be glad to go on an adventure when I'm free.
I also enjoy sharing travel experiences and learning something new.
