Overview
About Me
I have a passion for the curious, the strange and the creative in the world, whether it is a folkloric demon chicken that brings you gold and comes down through the chimney like Santa Claus (the so-called lidérc of Hungarian folklore), a spider species that lassos its prey instead of lazily waiting in a net (Ordgarius magnificus), a dizzying sketch by M.C. Escher or an enigmatic story about an 18th-century Romanian peasant who was live and kicking but purportedly had already died two times before (Georg Tallar: Visum Repertum anatomico-chyrurgicum, 1753, Timisoara).
I also love sports in general, and everything that has to do with or has to be done in nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel frequently and though I love discovering places for myself, it is also great to meet people who already have experiences to share about that given place. There is a touch of excitement to meeting people whom I would otherwise probably never meet.
