I live in good ole Austin, TX the Live Music Capital of the World with my beautiful girlfriend Emily Diakun.
My day job is a GIS Technician working for the City of Austin in their Watershed Protection department but my main passion is music. Currently a bassist and back-up vocalist of the local Austin band The Mackays (https://soundcloud.com/themackays) and I also write/produce ambient/electronic/post-rock music on the side (https://soundcloud.com/acmir).
I also love the outdoors, camping, hiking, backpacking, traveling, and kayaking.
I have a degree in Environmental Studies from Texas State University so I also have a passion for environmental sustainability and conservation.

Travel the American southwest camping for 27 days straight visiting most of the national parks, monuments, towns, geologic formations, and hiking mountains :)

I lived in Germany for 1.5 years during the ages of 9 and 10 and traveled most of Western Europe.
