Hi,

I live and work in Manchester as a Landscape Architect, I have just recently moved and enjoying getting to know the city. I am fortunate to have grown up in the middle of the Lake District which is a beautiful place, and has helped me develop a love for adventure and the outdoors. I’m quite active and sporty and love to try new experiences.

I’m a very relaxed easy going person and enjoy meeting new people. I can be shy at first, but very friendly and easy to get on with.

I love travelling, seeing new places and experiencing different cultures and meeting new people. I love to visit new cities, see amazing architecture and beautiful landscapes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new to couch surfing. I have been introduced to it by my girlfriend, she’s had such a positive experience that it opened my eyes and encouraged me to join.

Interests

I love trying new activities and hobbies, I’m generally active and sporty, my favourite activities are snowboarding, ski-mountaineering, surfing and golf. I love to participate in and watch all kinds of sports. I love football and enjoy going to live games.

I enjoy good food and like to cook. I like to relax by watching movies listening to music, playing video games and board games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a broad range of music, but rock and metal is my favourite, I like rock and metal bars and seeing live bands. I will be going to Glastonbury this year, which will be a new experience for me.

I don’t read as much as I should, but I enjoy crime thrillers, Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy I particularly enjoyed.

I love all sorts of movies, particularly comedies that you can watch time and again on a rainy day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

3 weeks ski-mountaineering adventure in Alaska - first ever snowboard ascent and descent of Mount Bear (4,800m) in the Wrangell mountain range – total glacial wilderness and isolation.
