I am a 26-year-old from Poznan, Poland. I was doing a working holiday in Australia for the past year with my girlfriend. We are now backpacking Asia. Have spent October in the Philipines and going now to Vietnam with a short 5-day break in Seoul, Korea <3 Hit me up if you want to meet for some food or beers!

We have spent the last 2 weeks surfing on the Island of Siargao in The Philipines. We are now going towards our Vietnam/Cambodia/ Laos part of the journey. We are very excited and can't wait for the next places!

Why did I move to Australia?

I decided to move to Australia because I was curious about the multiculturality and all the crazy animals and plants that are only here. Melbourne is full of adventures and is a great place to meet people and cultures from all over the world. In my free time, I practice rowing and cook delicious meals with my friends.
Apart from that, I am a big fan of surfing and gym activities. I am also preparing for the Melbourne Marathon in November. I speak fluent English and can speak some Spanish too. Always willing to teach people some Polish
as well :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I really like to travel but, think that the prices offered by hotels are ridiculous and I don't use Airbnb. I've noticed how Airbnb harms local communities and how it skyrockets the rental prices in touristy areas. After living for over a year in Madrid, seeing how people have to leave their family homes and move to the outskirts I just can't support that.
Moreover then ideological reasons, I think there is something very idealistic about this idea, and I like it really much. I have never used Couchsurfing before and hope to have many good adventures with it!

I am really into the cinema. More than actors I usually appreciate directors.
Some of my favorite movies are 'Blow', 'Heat' and 'Good Fellas' - yes, I like gangster movies a lot!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I did a 2-month voluntary work on an off-grid farm in the south of Portugal. Helped them recover the land after a major fire hit the area.

- I have a Onewheel board and I cruise around the city it always feels amazing

- I did a 1 year working holiday in Australia. I lived 6 month in Melbourne and 5 months in Northern Queensland

I can teach you basic cocktail mixology, play football or my girlfriend can teach you about cosmetics and skincare or social media management :)
