To throw myself against every wall to see what sticks; to soak up the wind and sun and people and opportunities to combine my passions into a life that leaves no regrets and takes no prisoners.

ABOUT ME

I'm a student of humanity, lustful for life and high on homo sapiens, and the world is my classroom and playground. I prefer my house to be a home, my friends to be my family, and for music to permeate all that I do.

I like dinner parties and dance floors; hiking and happy hour, couches and cuddle-puddles; electronics and environmentalism, mind-altering substances and meditation, and midnight walks of many words.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret: life has no meaning. We're just a bunch of silly, clever, hairless apes spinning 'round and 'round on a hunk of dirt hurtling through infinite nothing at millions of miles an hour.

And you know what? That's beautiful.

As for me, I'm here to make life beautiful for the other silly apes, however best I can.

I'll primarily be surfing, but that doesn't mean I don't have anything to offer: a listening ear, a laugh or two, and the very best hugs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm abroad again nearly a year since my last trip, and I had a blast -- couchsurfers are some of the most amazing people you can come into contact with. Every corner of the world is filled with human beings with fascinating lives and stories.

I've spent the majority of my life studying how people think and behave - psychology, anthropology, cognitive science, human-computer interaction. I'm always thinking about how friggin' crazy, ridiculous, incredible human beings and their minds and brains are.

Besides that, I'm a big fan of barefoot running, dancing, cooking, drum circles, music festivals, hiking and camping, board games, stimulating intellectual conversations and trying to see the world with the wide-eyed wonder of a child.
