About Me

I am a 25 year old teacher from England, looking to explore more of the world. My human geography degree has taken me to countries such as Spain, Switzerland and a year in Canada aswell as personal trips with friends to Finland, Germany and Hawaii. The last few years have completely changed shaped my outlook on life and I’m looking forward to visit new places and discover passions that I never knew existed

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

An affordable method of travel that allows you to meet people that you may not otherwise meet. I’ve met some awesome people from all over the world in the last 5 years and always want to continue that

Interests

My main interests currently are sport and travel. I am a long time Norwich City fan in the UK but also loved going to visit the Vancouver Canucks and Seattle Seahawks during my stay in Canada. I study Human Geography at university in England so interacting with people and visiting new places is a lifestyle that I want to pursue and the chance to meet new people while travelling is a win win situation!

  • minimalism
  • kayaking
  • language exchange
  • exploring new places
  • soccer/football

Music, Movies, and Books

For me there isn’t just one genre that I listen to, my music preference is often influenced by where I am and the people around me. Deaf Havana are my favourite band of all time and local to my hometown and I’m always willing to experience the local music scene wherever I visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My biggest achievement to date was my year studying on Vancouver Island, flying for the first time in 13 years the 7000 mile journey was intimidating to say the least but having been able to explore much of Canada and the US I can say hands down best experience of my life, and continually looking for the next adventure!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always interested in learning about people different to myself and a lot can be taken away from simply talking to people and taking away things to improve yourself

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m often described as pretty chill so wherever I visit I’d like to be able to chip in with cooking, cleaning etc and also simply have a conversation to learn more about who I am staying with

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, England
