I am very adventurous and new to couchsurfing. As I age, I am becoming more interested in traveling internationally. This summer, I am studying abroad in Florence, Italy. After the program, I want to travel through Europe for a couple weeks!

I love to run, bike, swim, hike, play guitar and ukulele, hunt, fish, backpack, and much more! Pretty much anything adventurous or active. I'm very interested in seeing both the cities and the nature in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I am interested in meeting other travelers and hearing their stories. As I learn about Couchsurfing, I believe that it enhances the experience. It will be much more memorable than staying by myself in a hotel. While traveling in Europe alone, I think it would be great to spend time not only learning the location, but also learning about the people and their culture. Hopefully one day, when I finish college, I can be a host to travelers.

Interests

As stated above, exercising and adventuring are my biggest interests. I run marathons, triathlons, and have recently gotten in to backpacking. Meeting new people and sharing stories while drinking a beer is a great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play the guitar and ukulele, so I appreciate music with acoustic guitar. I like Dave Mathews, Mumford, Avett Brothers, Train, and John Mayer to name a few.

I like to watch movies, but for some reason, I never do. If you have a favorite movie, I've probably never seen it and I'd love to watch it!

I have spent so much time studying in college, that I rarely read, but I do enjoy it from time to time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you guitar and ukulele chords if you have an instrument. I probably won't be able to bring mine. I can give you advice about exercising and awesome attractions in the United States. I'd love to learn about others' traveling experiences, education, culture, etc. And how their perspectives have changed with traveling. I find that to be very interesting.
