About Me

Hi, I’m Sayaf! I’m 22-year-old graduate from the beautiful region of Coorg, India. Growing up surrounded by nature, I’ve developed a deep love for the outdoors and all its wonders.

I’m passionate about traveling, meeting new people, and sharing meaningful conversations. There’s nothing I enjoy more than spending hours soaking in the beauty of sunrises, sunsets, stargazing, and admiring the moon. These moments inspire me and help me connect with the world around me.

I believe in the magic of human connections and look forward to learning from the stories and experiences of fellow travelers. Let’s create unforgettable memories together

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I’m a traveler, not just a tourist. Couchsurfing allows me to connect directly with the locals of a place, giving me the chance to truly understand and experience it through their eyes.

For me, it’s about listening to their stories, sharing in their lives, and discovering the hidden gems that no guidebook or Google map can show. Exploring a place with someone who knows it inside out makes the journey so much more meaningful and authentic. That’s what I value most about this platform.

Interests

When I travel, I love diving deep into the essence of a place. I’m curious about its weather patterns, local economy, and the fruits and vegetables that flourish there. I enjoy learning about the types of employment, traditions, and cultural practices that define a community.

Food is a big part of my journey—I’m always excited to explore traditional dishes, the spices they grow and use, and how they bring their flavors to life. I’m equally fascinated by traditional outfits, the history of the region, major sports people play, and the stories that shape their way of life.

For me, traveling isn’t just about seeing new places; it’s about understanding them, connecting with the people, and embracing their unique culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old Hindi songs for their depth and meaningful lyrics, and Malayalam and Tamil songs for their incredible vibe. When it comes to movies, I enjoy Hollywood sci-fi and action, gripping Malayalam thrillers, Bollywood comedies, and occasionally the over dramatic South Indian films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once jumped (or dived) off a moving boat into the delta (estuary)—and no, it wasn’t a public boat it was our own boat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you unique languages like Kodava and Malabari—languages you won’t easily find resources for online! If you’re interested, I can also teach you how to play hockey, a sport I’m passionate about.

I’m eager to learn anything new! Whether it’s about your culture, traditions, or any unique skills you can share, I’m always ready to expand my horizons.

I’d love to share my stories and experiences from Coorg and beyond. Whether it’s about life in my hometown, my travels, or simply meaningful conversations, I enjoy connecting and exchanging ideas with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Endless laughter company share and listen to stories and help them in their work and anything possible from my side.
