I'm a college student studying abroad in Budapest! I grew up in Wisconsin, but I go to college near Los Angeles. I enjoy traveling, being outside, and meeting new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to get a more personal experience while I travel. Meeting and living with locals in an experience that not many people get to have, and I believe that it makes traveling a lot more valuable. Hopefully, it might even lead to long lasting friendships

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Twice I have gone backpacking through the Alps in Germany/Austria as part of a Boy Scout exchange program. In 2012 and 2016, I came to Germany to go camping and hiking with German scouts for a month. As a part of this, we spent one week each time hiking through the Alps. These have been incredible experiences for me, and I have formed several lifelong friendships through this program. Hopefully I will go back in 2020.
