About Me

I'm currently in film school and need to come up with a script for the directing class in the fall. I made the decision to travel to Europe for the summer to glean inspiration from my travels. On the list of inspiration items are castles, monuments, Chernobyl, fortresses, art galleries, opera, ballet, symphony, street art and I'm alwas open to new ideas and concepts. My first weekend in Kyiv was met with Comic Con Kyiv, an epic bike ride and a fun outdoor concert series down in Indpendence square. I'm considering a trip to the Tunnel of Love as it seems very inspiring indeed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and it never hurts to have advice from locals and other travelers alike. I nearly booked a ticket to Donetsk on my second day before someone at Comic Con told me it would be a bad idea.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy the Directing of Joss Whedon and the Cinematography of Larry Fong the most. There are plenty of others to admire, emulate and one day be on the level of, but those two are more my style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a high fashion photo in January 2019 that made it into an art gallery, launched me into a photo competition and eventually earned me a scholarship.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught weather, physics, chartology, history, law and flight mechanics at the University level. I'm always seeking out ways to better understand the world we live in, and though I'm a bit thick headed, I'm going to eventually start speaking the local language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A breadth of knowledge spanning over 400 college credits, having spent time in over 50 countries on 5 continents, and mediocre cooking skills. I enjoy the arts, so if you want to see a playwright or attend a gallery, I'm your man.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, Ethiopia, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Kenya, Luxembourg, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Puerto Rico, Scotland, South Korea, South Sudan, Sweden, Thailand, Ukraine, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Uzbekistan, Wales
