One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a 12 hours train sleeping on a bench (Economy Couch) from Sungai Golok, Malaysia all the way to Bangkok, Thailand. Any regrets ? No because of the nice view, but will I ever do it again ? No because now I can afford to buy plane tickets 😀

Seeing the destruction at Gunung Merapi, Yogyakarta, due to the 2010 eruption. It was very spontaneous. Yogyakarta was never inside my plan. The initial plan was to spend 4 days in Bandung, Indonesia, but when I reached there, me and Bandung, we got some issue. It was so crowded, with a lot of markets ! I need to go somewhere, and decided to book a midnight train to Yogyakarta and it was the best decision I ever made. Upon arriving, I went straight ahead to the train station, and met a guy and his wife. I asked him,

"Where are you guys going?"
"We're going to Merapi"
"Do you mind if I tag along ? "
"Sure"

Just like that. Yousuf and I, we straightaway became friends
