I met this Polish guy in 2009 when I traveled to Syria and he introduced me to CouchSurfing. I've never tried hosting, and never been hosted, but I'm open to the idea.

I traveled alone to Syria in 2009 right before the war. It was such an amazing place, so rich in history and culture. But the most unforgettable are the people of Syria, they’re the nicest and warmest people. The war is totally heartbreaking. 😔
