About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life to its fullest as it is presently happening
ABOUT ME
My preference is to stay as active as possible. One of my problems is getting bored if I don't have something to do. That isn't to say i don't just enjoy getting to know someone though. I am a very competitive person and enjoy playing almost any sport or game. I love seeing new places and trying new things. Except for foods, I admit to being a picky eater.
On the other hand, Lexi is very artistic. She is also competitive, although we do a pretty good job of not competing against each other too much. We got married in 2014, and are just enjoying life together in Kansas City.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is to have the best time you can before it is too late. That isn't to say we should all travel and see the world now. Everyone has responsibilities, both financial and otherwise. However, if an opportunity to live and explore presents itself, then why not take it?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We took a 35-day 6000 mile road-trip in March 2014. Thankfully, we were able to stay with couch surfers at several stops along the way. Now that we have bought a home in the KC area and have a spare bedroom, we are happy to host travelers coming through KC.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far my experiences with couchsurfing have been great. Surfing along the way of my travels last summer was awesome. Sightseeing at Mt Rainier with 3 other couchsurfers was also an amazing experience. Our trip in March was one of the more amazing things we will probably do in our lives, and everyone we stayed with was great.
Interests
I enjoy doing things and meeting new people. By doing things, I mean I want to be actively engaged in something. I enjoy playing pool, poker, bar trivia, and sports. I also love watching sports and would like to go to a game at any professional baseball stadium I come to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2012 I drove over 4000 miles from Dallas, to Chicago, to Seattle. Then from Seattle, to Utah, to New Mexico, and back to Dallas. Simply driving across the country and seeing the wilderness is amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach anyone about poker. I'm not a professional or anything, but understand the game better than average. Also, I have a mind for business. Need a marketing idea? Maybe I can help.
Lexi is completely the opposite in terms of talent. She can help with design ideas for your home!
