About Me

I believe that traveling the world shouldn't come with the assumption that it is impossible to do because it will cost to much. Chris McCandless's story changed my view on life an inspired me to get out there and see everything the world has to offer. Life is all about the experiences we accumulate not the possessions we accumulate. I want to experience the beauty this world has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think there is so much to this world to experience and so few time in our lives to experience it, so whatever I can do to help people out I believe in. And in return I believe people will help me out too, because travelers have a common mentally to get by from one place to the next. My friends and I have hosted many people and they have all been great and wonderful.

Interests

I love rock climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking (but don't currently have one), traveling and meeting new people. And, but of course, I love music. Mostly all types, anything I can bounce my head to.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty much anything electronic including electronic mixes of swing and indie music. I love the relaxing vibes of Tyco while I also enjoying chilling out to music like the Mama and the Papas and Simon and Garfunkel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In October of 2014, my friends and I climbed Mt. Whitney, tallest mountain in the lower 48 states at an elevation of 14, 505. We day hiked it totaling 22 miles with little accumulation. The hike was tough because of that point but all in all it was worth all the hardship.
