About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To bodly go where no couch surfer has gone before!

ABOUT ME

I love to travel, but am on a budget so Couch Surfing is a great option. I was directed here by a friend who gave it great reviews, and has traveled as far as Asia using it.

I really look forward to my first experience, and hope to meet lots of great people. I enjoy sight seeing and hiking. I am very easy to get along with, and trustworthy. After one couch surfing experience, i learned how to treat people. I like the idea of couch surfing, and want to keep things in the spirit of what it was created for: a way to meet cool new interesting people and experience a city the way locals do.

PHILOSOPHY

It's pretty simple - treat people as you would like to be treated. Being tolerant of other people is not enough; it's also important to embrace diversity and respect opinions', as well as rights' of others. Also not make people I host, girl or guy uncomfortable or feel unwelcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently I went to Montreal, Quebec and stayed with some really great people. I traveled to San Diego, California where stayed with a lady who introduced me to her friends, and shared her stories with me. The majority of my time was spent sight seeing in the Gas Lamp district, as well as venturing off to the canyons.

Interests

I really enjoy documenting my experiences with photography and sharing them with friends and family. I'm not very shy, so meeting new friends along the way is always thrilling experience. I would like to host people who can also share their experiences with me.Even in Richmond I have not seen all the monuments and local attractions that people who live in the city take for granite.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite shows are lost, dexter, american horror story, walking dead, adventure time, game of thrones, sliders, revolution, and attack of the show. I saw an episode of doctor who and 3 days later had seen every episode. Right now im reading damned, but i really enjoy hunter s. Thomopson, hell's angels is my favorite. I enjoy all different types of music. I really like elliott smith, kurt vile, portugal the man, beirut, the shins, m83, passion pit, velvet underground, tom waits and too many more to list. I worked at a music venue and am into going to concerts. More so, I enjoy new experiences. Any thing people can share with me that creates an eye opening thought or epiphany is a bonus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't seen many of the world's wonders, but the few I have seen have been incredible. The Grand Canyon was exactly that. The sheer size of Hoover dam was astonishing. More so than just man made creations, I really enjoy seeing what nature produces. La Jolla cove in California was so beautiful and lively. I can't wait to see what else the world has to offer.
