I've been around the Kurdistan region extensively from the mountains to its archeological sites. I am half Kurdish half Canadian and I pretty much grew up in Kurdistan from 1998-2004. I lived here when there was barely any electricity, we were under double sanctions (UN + Saddam Hussein).
