Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because people on Couchsurfing are the best sort of people.
Not everybody is open-minded enough to host travellers for free. It's kind of the same as with hitchhiking - somehow almost all the hitchhiking people have beautiful souls. Also, I believe that local people know all the best places in their neighbourhood and especially the lesser known places, you can always exchange interesting stories and learn something about different cultures and the world.
