About Me
ABOUT ME:
Hey my names Adam. I am currently in the military, have also spent 10 years previously as a firefighter. As you'd expect I am pretty into my fitness and sport. Always down for a hike, or just hanging out at the beach. Days in are just as important as days out, so I'm a bit of a movie buff and into my games as well. I have a couple cars and love working on my old bmw. You'll find that I am really easy going and always happy to help when I can. (Updated 30/09/23)
PHILOSOPHY:
- Do today what others won’t, so that tomorrow you can do what others can’t.
- Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the will to continue that counts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:
I have a two bedroom apartment in Brisbane, of which the spare bedroom has a bed, tv, and a bathroom. Happy to have people stay and use the spare room provided you are clean, and that it works with my current work schedule which is always all over the shop (thanks defence force). It's located in Stafford, about 10 minutes form the city. Super close to shops, cafes, gym, laundry and public transport. Very easy to get around town.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
I have hosted some great people here in Australia, and I was lucky enough to stay with so many amazing and awesome people during my travels around the USA.

Music, Movies, and Books
I pretty much watch any movies and listen to every time of music. I really enjoy podcasts, and audio books especially biographies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being a firey for 10 years gives you plenty of stories, plus my time in the military has definitely added to those. I always down to spin a yarn to two.
I've worked in a summer camp in the USA and then travelled to 16 different states in 30 days afterwards. I have also worked two ski seasons in Whistler, Canada (Easily the best time of my life) and also travelled a bit in Japan where I did a blacksmithing course and made a knife using traditional sword making techniques.
