Overview
About Me
Like many who grew up in Colorado, I'm someone that likes to spend my time outside. I grew up boating, playing football, playing lacrosse, vacationing in California. I have some great family and friends. At CSU I studied History, worked as a Resident Assistant, Volunteered in Moab, Studied Abroad in Prague. I worked at their mountain campus for two summers where I made some of the best friends of my life, tubed, hiked, and partied often.
I value my health and hope to shape my life around doing environmental work.
I met my fiance at CSU. She grew up in Cincinnati and moved to Colorado for the mountains. She also loves the outdoors but is less interested in organized sports compared to me. She's quite the hiker, is more health conscious that I am and much more adventurous. Her guilty pleasure is crappy TV. We both have a sweet tooth that we struggle to control though she went a month without sugar recently. She's strong willed and beautiful. I love her.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm Frugal. I got into couchsurfing because of my study abroad experience and because I had a limited budget. I like to think that I can travel cheaply and stay with nice people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm really into Funk music right now. My favorite band to see is the Motet.
I like to laugh so Comedy's are up my alley. Happy Gilmore has always been my favorite movie. Just having it play in the background is good enough for me.
I don't read much. I've worked a lot lately so haven't had as much time to read as I'd like. I do really like to read about Latin American Revolutions. It's pretty inspiring.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Graduating College was quite the accomplishment. It took 6 years and I got to do a lot with it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I got a History Education degree and I'm pretty sure that's what I want to do but am still looking for other life routes. I learned quite a bit about the Westward Movement Era in my last semester, I studied Chinese History, Latin American Revolutions.
Countries I’ve Visited
Czech Republic, Ireland, Spain
