About Me

I just graduated from university and now work as a research assistant at a think tank in Boston specializing in economics. I hosted Couchsurfers when I was a student in New York City so that I could one day travel the world using Couchsurfing. And now, this aspiration has started to materialize. I am traveling to the Democratic Republic of the Congo for work (research/fieldwork) and my job allows me to work remotely for 2 weeks on my way there. I am just going to visit Brussels and London since I really want to get to know a place and the people there instead of traveling from one place to the next.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people. I Couchsurfed twice while I was traveling through Morocco and both experiences were absolutely amazing. One experience in particular has always stuck with me. I got to live with an absolutely incredible family in rural Morocco. I will always remember their generosity and kindness of heart.

Interests

I like economics and traveling is my way of putting some reality into the theoretical world in my head.

I also like cooking, rockclimbing, running, music, architecture, and also anything intellectually challenging.
