About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Uh, try and be nice to people, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations
ABOUT ME
tall, thin, lanky. Open-minded and pretty laid back
PHILOSOPHY
Things don´t always work out the way you expected, not even the way you might have hoped, but they always work out.
Long story short, dont´t worry!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
If I can't travel at the moment, I can at least live vicariously through others!
Nah, I'm mainly on couchsurfing because I really like meeting people. It's super fun hosting people and hanging out, and I like showing my town to travellers.
I've met some really nice people through couchsurfing and I've only had positive experiences on here.
It's also crazy how much I learn about my own town when I have to show others around it. It makes me appreciate it all the more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Growing up on a farm and surviving with all my limbs intact....I think back to some of the things I did as I kid and I am amazed I'm still here. Guess that's what scars are for
-As for other amazing things I've done and seen, these are too numerous to mention. Maybe I'm just too easily impressed, but there are a myriad of supposedly mundane things that continue to amaze me on a daily basis....
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, let's just say if I were stranded on a desert island, I'd die hopelessly within a week.
But, if you want me cook for you or show you how to knit, no worries. Also, I'm pretty handy with a sewing machine, and I'm getting to be a dab hand at fixing things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A super relaxed hang out space
A garden shed all to yourself (trust me, it's better than it sounds)
Not one, but two flatmates to entertain you
I live with two girls - Elza and Beth - and I'm lucky that they are two of the best flatties I have ever had the pleasure of living with.
We're not a huge party house - more so quiet drinks and board games
But, probably the main thing I can share with guests, is a safe space.
None of us care what your gender / sexuality / religion / ethnicity / fashion sense is - as long as you are a nice person and not causing any harm to others, then the other details are irrelevant. So, come hang out if you'd like!
