ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet interesting people so there's no better way really to get this experience while not travelling than meeting or hosting CouchSurfers! I love writing and enjoy trying to write short fiction and sketches as well as general reviews and travel writing. I play lots of music and a number of instruments share the house with me and my housemates. I listen to a lot of folk and traditional music and regularly seek out gigs and new people to listen to.

I'm originally from Birmingham but have been living away in other cities (mostly Edinburgh and London) for the last few years. Birmingham is home though and the place that I know best so it will be great to show people round and show how brilliant the UK's second city really is!

Spending two months living in Petrozavodsk in the Republic of Karelia. I generally love doing things that are well outside my usual realms of experience!
