ABOUT ME

Hey Couch Surfers,

My name is Adam and I am really new to this couch surfing business. I grew up in California and now live in Connecticut, which is really close to New York City.

I am a musician and I've been playing the contrabass since I was 15 years old. The musical styles I play are jazz, classical, rock, latin jazz and free jazz.

I quit my job and am heading to South America from January to May of 2011. I am mostly interested in seeing the sights and connecting with as many people as possible. I will be taking a musical instrument with me on this trip and, hopefully, will be able to play with some folks while I'm down there.

Some of the places that I've been to in my life are: Peru, Hong Kong, Hawaii, Tokyo, Montreal, Sweden, London, Scotland, Barcelona, Milan, Guatemala, Mexico City, Paris, Vienna, Vancouver, Miami, New Orleans.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a great deal about music performance, theory and history as well as about jazz music and how to play the bass. I actually make money teaching people how to play.

I like to learn how to cook different things and also want to learn how to speak spanish.
