About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Not be stuck in one little hole in the world!
ABOUT ME
I like the outdoors, and I like singing and playing music. I like walking around, looking at things, and talking. I like to have coffee or a drink, and I like learning about people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hopefully just by meeting people, trying to be a good host and/or a good guest. I recently moved from Richmond, VA to an incredibly small town called Edinburg. I don't expect many CouchSurfers to come through, but if they do, I'll do as much as I can for them!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't feel like I really have much experience. My roommate hosted a few people in Richmond. They were fun, very cool experiences!
Interests
Walking, hiking, running, music, movies, books, meeting people, studying, talking, learning new languages (so I won't shy away from trying, if you give me a chance and have a little patience!)

Music, Movies, and Books
There are way too many to list...
Some of my favorite movies are Kill Bill Vol. 2, The Departed, Minority Report, Star Wars, The Lion King, Sin City, Amelie; I love horror movies in general. I listen to a lot of different types of music; some of my favorite bands/artists are The Smiths, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, The National, Wild Beasts, and even some pop music, like Beyonce.
I really love to read; some of my favorite books are The Corrections, The Things They Carried, The Great Gatsby, Lord of the Flies, The Road, One Hundred Years of Solitude, On the Road, Catch-22, All the King's Men... I could go on and on for hours. But I have very open and varied tastes, so I love to discuss them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Palio di Siena: the most stunning and moving cultural event I've ever been to. It was my first full day in Italy in July 2010. There are no words to describe it. I just have to go back.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: As much as I can, whatever I can!
Learn: Other languages, how to cook interesting new foods, new philosophies.
