ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in NYC. I love art, food, and life. I long for adventure and value each person & event that has taken place in my life, whether good or bad! I've been producing electronic music for almost 10 years and I must say I'm not half bad ;) It's such an amazing outlet for me, along with writing, to express feelings and connect with people on a greater emotional level. I like to keep to myself but I do get excited in new environments and often relish a good conversation or even debate. It thrills me to see another persons point of view and exchanging ideas and experiences. I have a witty sarcastic sense of humor but in good taste and I'm not mean spirited. Life is challenging but I retain a positive and calm outlook which has only served to my benefit

PHILOSOPHY

I believe it's the most important thing to be honest with yourself and be human. Growing up in the NYC it's often hard to maintain. It's easy to fall in to the many distractions of our modern life but the beauty is when you find someone that can relate to that struggle - thats how you make lasting friendships. I also believe that everyone is an artist and it upsets me when people try to make it sound that either theyre not one or carry that smugness of being an "artist". We're all great at something and apart of being on this planet is finding that something! I'm not religious but I do believe there's something greater out there that we can't explain and I don't discount the importance of religion and it's impact on civilization

Interests

What can I say - I love listening to music, making music, writing, reading, watching films, walking, hiking. I love nature but I also have a bittersweet appreciation for the marvels of man and our progress on this planet. I love food whether eating or cooking then eating. I love to entertain people even though I do have a shy side. I enjoy beer and a nice glass of whiskey on the rocks accompanied by a hearty chat stew!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite film drama is "There Will Be Blood". My favorite comedy is "Coming to America". My favorite tv show would have to be either "Twilight Zone" or "Sienfeld", but thats only the tip of the iceberg. I love watching films and must confess that I'm a bit of a film buff! My favorite music? AHHH another tough one! As a musician I can say that my influences are, Carlos Jobim, Aphex Twin, and Lou Reed, but of course that list can go on and on! My favorite contemporary artists would have to be Flying Lotus, Gold Panda, and Tame Impala to name a few. With books, honestly I'm just starting to read more as of late but I do love the twisted style of Chuck Palahnuik. I like to also read biographical books and right now I'm currently reading "How Music Works" by the great David Byrne and the classic, "Catch-22".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Australia and saw the Blue Mountains! I've met David Byrne from Talking Heads! I've swam in a private pool that was closed! I just realized that it says to write one amazing thing, but all three just came to mind so I figured I'd write them down.

Teach, Learn, Share

My love for food has gotten me into some great culinary experiences. I worked as a prep cook in an asian fusion restaurant and I picked up a lot of recipes and tricks for cooking and combine that with the many kitchens I've worked with as a server I'm pretty well versed in various cooking styles. I ain't sayin I'm a pro, just sayin I got a few tricks up my kitchen sleeves!

I've been producing music for almost 10 years now and I'm always learning more about my craft and it'd be great to share what I know to anyone who's also interested in making their own tunes

Comedy & Film is another passion of mine but I've never really given it a chance yet. I'd love to learn anything I can about writing stories, acting, and possibly standup.

There's a plethora for me to offer and to learn. I bet theres a lot that I don't even know that I want to learn but believe me when I say I'm open to everything!
