Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The last time I travelled solo was when I went to Paris for the first time. I rented a small room in an older gentleman's apartment. I thought I'd get to at least grab coffee with him and he could tell me all about his city, but that was not the case. My point is, I'd like to experience a place I visit to the max. Immerse myself in the local culture and mingle around with the locals, and I think I'll get that with couchsurfing. I'll also get to make new friends through this website. Lifelong friends, I hope!

Interests

I love to listen and read about history and religion. Especially if it's ancient history! History-gasm! Visiting museums and ancient sites are a must for me whilst I'm in Europe. Apart from that, I love to just sit at bars and listen to live music. It's best when I have good company with me and when the music played is instrumental.... like at Spanish pubs. That sort of music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Interstellar and The Hundred-Foot Journey are at the of my movie list for now. As for music, I listen to almost anything and everything just so long as it sounds sweet to my ears - lots of instrumental though I can never remember the names of the songs. As for books, I may sound childish here, but my favourite series for now is the Percy Jackson series - just because I'm fascinated by all the Ancient Greek and Roman gods and goddesses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two of my friends took me flyboarding just a few days before I left for Europe last year. It was WICKED!

Apart from that, I don't think I've done much sports or recreation activities. BUT! I would really love to try bungee jumping, parachuting, hand gliding, jet skiing, and so on. My list goes on and on here.

I don't have much to offer just yet, but when I do get my own apartment, my doors will always be open. Perhaps, I don't know if this counts, but for now all I can offer is for you to practice your English with me, if you'd like that that is.
