ABOUT ME
I'm a 21 year-old-male from the USA who is half American-half Swedish :) I am currently on an exchange year at Lund University in Sweden and am studying a combination of development and environmental studies. Here I've been doing a lot of traveling around Europe and learning how to live on my own (since at college in the USA we have a roommate and have food made for us - spoiled American, I know :P ) I love to have a good time, explore new places and activities, and be active. I'm new to Couchsurfing, but I've heard a lot about it and am excited to get started !
PHILOSOPHY
Life. Family. Love. Music. Environment. Nature. Travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but I'm excited to start!
Interests
I am interested in music (I am a singer), traveling, enjoying a good laugh with friends and family, and partying :D I love the outdoors and adventures including hiking, skiing, kayaking, swimming.. pretty much any activity that is done outdoors! I also enjoy a good gym session and like trying new workouts- this past summer I did a month of Krav Maga martial arts along with 2 months of Bikram Yoga. Since moving to Sweden, I've discovered a love for food and making food.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring"
As for music, my taste is so diverse: currently really into a lot of folk rock. For example, my latest obsession is Radical Face. I'm also into Tallest Man on Earth, Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes.. that kind of stuff :) Beyond that, Of Monsters and Men, Lykke Li, Sia, Coldplay, Vampire Weekend, The Shins, Ben Howard, Grouplove. As a drastic contrast, I also enjoy a bit of house music to get me pumped up!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently spent a full week skiing in the French Alps. I have never felt so challenged as a skier nor seen such natural, prestige beauty in my entire life as I have seen in those mountains. If you're a skier or just appreciate trekking/seeing the sites, I could not recommend the Alps enough.
