ABOUT ME

I am originally from Poland. I currently live in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where I teach political science at a college. I did my undergraduate studies in Warsaw and graduate school at University of Florida. I love traveling and meeting people. I've been to such places as Georgia, Turkey, Mexico, Russia, Vietnam, US and most of Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet locals all over the world while traveling. I believe that traveling only makes sense if you meet and make friends with local people in the place where you're going. Only then you truly know and understand a country. I also like to help by hosting fellow travelers.
I am happy to host fellow TRAVELERS. I do not accommodate people who have an itinerant lifestyle and use couchsurfing to save on rent. Also, life is quite lonely here so if you stay at my place be kind to strike a conversation and make a friend.

Interests

I enjoy outdoors (hiking, biking, kayaking). I also enjoy reading about history and politics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if it is so amazing or rather stupid, but I climbed volcano Iztaccihuatl in Mexico without any equipment. I also backpacked for 18 days in Altay mts in Siberia and we had to take all the necessary food for these 18 days.
