ABOUT ME

Social inquisitive introvert with a propensity to seek out travel opportunities sometimes labeled as "off the beaten path". Prefer connections over selfies and cliche' tourist spots. Studied jazz and film for my bachelors, computer science with an emphasis in cybersecurity for my graduate work. Love to have a plan with a leisure amount of room for the spontaneous.

I was born outside of Iowa City, Iowa to a family of school teachers in a farm community. Pass times include but not limited to Crossfit, Olympic Lifting, Yoga, Swimming, and Snowboarding. I enjoy articulate and complex flavor profiles for beer and wine but gravitate towards expensive bourbon and dreadfully overpriced scotch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in Washington, DC. Travel as much as I can while on a budget, and more importantly meeting people I can return the favor to someday, or just call friend.
