I've always been experiencing hosting/being hosted since I'm singing in a choir and we often stay in host families during our tours. I love to meet new people and stay in touch with them. On our last trip we went to New York and I told myself that I want nothing but to be hosted on my next trips. So Couchsurfing is maybe the best option to find people for hosting/being hosted.
