CURRENT MISSION
strike a balance between work and fun
ABOUT ME
I caught the travel bug during and after my study abroad program in college. Since then, I have traveled about Europe and more recently, the Middle East. It has been such a wonderful, enriching experience to meet, mingle with, and understand so many new cultures, places, sights, tastes, and people.
I like to talk to people and look at the world from their perspective. I love culture - arts, history, and uniqueness. I like to think that we are all here to share experiences together. I value human connection and my friendships very dearly.
PHILOSOPHY
I approach the world hoping to add positive energy and value. I look to see where I can give to others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have done a fair bit of surfing and have tried hosting in the past. I'm a bit far from San Francisco so I don't get too many requests, but maybe that will change.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have made some incredible friends from Couchsurfing. Couchsurfing is not just about staying somewhere for cheap -- I feel like I have made lifelong connections after meeting people who are like me.

Teach, Learn, Share
For vegetarians in Berlin, my favorite falafel places are on opposite sides of town. The surprisingly great Lebanese place on Uhlandstrasse in between Fechnerstrasse and Guentzelstrasse in Wilmersdorf is more of a middle eastern flavor, while Sahara on Weserstrasse in Kreuzkoelln has peanut sauce to die for.
After living in Germany for a total of 2 yrs, I can also give advice and consultation on how to avoid and minimize the Deutsche Bahn's brutal ticket costs.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Jordan, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
