Currently living and working in Reykjavik, Iceland. Born and raised here.

I want to host people that are joyful and enjoy life. The perfect surfer for me is a person that doesn't rely too much on me and can also do stuff on their own. But if I have the time and you have the courage, you might join me and my friends on a journey like these :

I'm a 25 years old guy from Iceland. Lived in the capital area all my life so I know the place well. I am pretty social so I love being around people and meeting new friends. I love music and Iceland has a lot of good variation of great music I could introduce you to ( we have more artists than Bjork and Sigur Ros.
I would call myself a skeptic and a critical thinker. I guess it comes from years of studying science. Since my travels in beginning of 2011 I have become hooked on other countries and cultures. I hope one day to get to travel to the other continents. If I end up hosting you could you do me a favour? Could you bring me one of your favorite local liquor or beer? I am trying to collect alcohol from all over the world. that would be awesome! Can you imagine owning such a bar ? :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love my country so I'm always happy to tell people about it and showing people what I can. I joined the site mainly because I was going on a world trip with my friend 2011 and would be happy to host people if I get the same in return one day.

I love hosting just as much as i love surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some people and had so much fun! Definitely made some friends, fx I surfed the couch of a girl who stayed with me.

I've been surfing couches here and there around the world as well and every single time it is awesome! the people, the food, the late night talks... just name it

Richard Dawkins , Simon Singh, James Randi and other science-based books and well.. I grew up reading Harry Potter books so they are my childhood!
Also like mythology, especially Norse mythology.

I like all kinds of music, really!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is probably go backstage at the Metallica concert which were in Iceland 2004. They were my idols back then! :)

I could tell you loads about my country and if you haven't been there or it wasn't on your next destinations I will promise that I can change that ;)
I can teach you the basics of rock climbing and take you out and try sports climbing in the rocks. If you are used to rock climbing I'd love going with you outside or inside if the weather is bad.
