ABOUT ME
I spent most of my childhood chasing frogs and lizards. Born and raised in Montana. My last year of high school I went to a music and arts school in Ojai, CA, then headed to Maine for 5 years, got excited about contradancing, small-scale agriculture, oral history and Latin America and graduated from College of the Atlantic. I spent 10 months in Guatemala learning Spanish, and working on an environmental health project. I've been bouncing back and forth between Montana and Maine for the past four years, recording and performing my songs as well as traditional fiddle music and playing for dances, and now farming, too. During the growing season, my girlfriend & I live in a 16 ft diameter yurt in Starks, Maine. During the winter, we're based out of Helena, MT.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking for kind hosts while trekking around the country playing my music..
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a few couch-surfing hosts in Idaho on tour in 2008 - great people all, and a wonderful experience.
When one family introduced me to their 1-ton pig Buba who ate entire loaves of bread in a single bite, I thought, this is the social networking site for me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once played the guitar and the didgeridoo and tap-danced all at the same triumphant moment.
