Sweet little solo mission to Hawaii, then a road trip down the US West Coast starting in Bellingham and finishing in San Fran to met a friend..

ABOUT ME

I'm 32... think ALL the time.. can be kind of shy until I find my comfort zone and open up.. i'm passionate about things that I care about (life, love, art, experiences, friends, family, people), and completely nonchalant about things that I don't (politics, religion, gossip).. I'm happy in a 5 star resort, or camping in the mud... i've spent most of my working life working for a bank which I have loved, and continue to love.. but am being heavily drawn towards a creative career.. and am spending a lot of my time travelling - especially on those long lonely stretches of road - thinking about exactly which path I will take.. lots more thinking to be done though, and plenty of time to do it! I don't like to rush, but I don't like to waste time either..

PHILOSOPHY

life's good.. love it, live it. Anyone who suggests life is not good, isn't doing it right! Sure there are tough times, but get through those and see who you become.. take the time to reflect, but don't waste time focussing on the past. Make plans and set goals, but don't let the future get in the way of today.

in all honesty, so far nothing.. aside from signing up and building my profile.. i plan to take advantage of the fantastic community of hosts that appear to be available.. and when I can, become a host myself to return the favour..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only did it once on my European motorcycle adventure, and had an amazing time with the nicest of hosts!
