Australia to Sweden overland

ABOUT ME

Hey,

I am undertaking a journey of education. My mission is simple. To cross the planet over land from my home town to Sweden, where I will live for several years to learn a second language. I know that Swedish is not the most useful language but as English is pretty much spoken throughout the world may as well pick a language I find attractive.

I am also attempting to widen my knowledge of this planet, mainly from a cultural point of view. I would rather use "home stay" or couch surfing as a way to remove myself from the "backpacker" lifestyle and stay with locals.

PHILOSOPHY

99.99% of all people are good. The other 0.01% are just trying to get by, unfortunately some choose ways that harm others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have put up many backpackers in my home (when I had one) and will most always stop to pick up a hitch-hiker if I am driving a car. I will continue to do this when I have a house again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well... there was a 6month period where I pretty much called a couch my bed when I was working at a bar and my real home was inaccessible by public transport after 00:00.
