Currently studying Politics at Glasgow University. Keen on literature; occasionally beat, sometimes Scottish sometimes something else. Long distance cycling both as a means of commuting and also for exploring. Playing traditional folk music from anywhere on the mandolin and guitar.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Try to host surfers, but my room is pretty cramped. Recommend other hosts. Yet to couch surf myself but intending to over the summer

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a few couch surfers stay with me and my old flatmates, couchsurfed whilst cycling round Switzerland.

Music - Anything good really; twee jangly indie pop from Glasgow, lots of jazz music, traditional folk modern folk or by label; Chemical Underground, Fence Collective, Kitsune. Used to prefer Kerouac but will read anything now, generally rooted in reality, big fan of Raymond Carver. Electro club music if I'm going out
