About Me
ABOUT ME
I love cooking, brewing beer, gardening, reading, and learning. I frequently find excuses to go out into nature, bird watching, kayaking, hiking, camping, basically exploring in any capacity.
I live with my wife, Sarah, and our cat, Francine. We are hooked on road-trips and have a bad case of the travel bug. When we are not on the road (which has been more often as of late, having a cat and garden and all), we like to help others travel affordably and host and share in the experience however we can (local advice, rides, day trips, offering a homebrew at the end of a long day of travel, etc.).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First I surfed all over the United States, as part of a coast-to-coast road-trip as well as shorter adventures.
More recently, my wife and I have been hosting a number of surfers in Southeastern PA. We have a guest bedroom on the third floor (seasonally -- it's to hot in the summer and too cold in the winter) and a futon in our living room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Four week, 3,000 mile road-trip across the country with 36 teenagers . . . twice. We climbed, hiked, rafted, and caravanned our way across CO, UT, AZ, NV, and CA. It's so wonderful guiding young people through their first experiences in new places.
Teach, Learn, Share
