Overview
About Me
Currently living in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, moving to Manchester August 1st! Can't wait!!
I used to do freelance animation but my heart wasn't in it. Now I'm building a portfolio in telling peoples stories, it makes sense when explained properly I promise.
I love travelling with as little a plan as possible and giving in to the chaos, meeting great people and learning.
I'm making intermittent trips to Manchester as often as I can bare the price of the train ticket! I look forward to meeting some local Manchester couch-surfers and travellers :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people. To learn about their beliefs and perspectives. To explore towns and cities through their local, unique perspective and to hopefully give something back to my hosts at the end of it! :)
Interests
I love surfing when I can.
I really enjoy theatre, but digitaltheatre.com can only show you so much - hoping to see few productions in Manchester soon on one of my trips over :D
Making and creating things brings me a lot of joy and peace - especially when I make things for someone else, that I care about.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Jazz, Theatre / Moving Soundtracks, Alt, R&B, Rap, Folk, a lot really!.. Even if I hate to be the person that says they enjoy all music.
Movies: Whiplash, Into the Woods, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Midnight In Paris, Pacific Rim,Nightcrawler, Enemy, Guardians of the Galaxy, Boyhood, Edge of Tommorow, Foxcatcher, The Fault In Our Stars, Fury, Saving Private Ryan. (I think this update was from 2015 - but I had better taste back then!)
TV: I love Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Cowboy Bebop, Firefly, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Death-note, and again much more.
Books: A fault in Our Stars, The Name of the Wind, Pablo Neruda Poems, Old Folktales book I forget the name of.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling to India, and visiting a water conservation project and community at 18 in the summer of 2012, which I'm proud to have called home for a month is, in large part, the reason I've got such itchy feet to get traveling again!
I learnt a lot about other cultures and I destroyed many prejudices I had of travelers and hippy folk, so much so I want to be one now myself!
It gave me an outside perspective of western culture and taught me that there's different ways of living, none correct or better than any other, just different.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to surf! I can teach you a bit of Spanish - it's lacking a bit after years of living in England.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, company, I'm always happy to buy a new friend a drink, or food!
