ABOUT ME

I am a school teacher on the international circuit. I enjoy living in Almaty and am happy to help travelers who are passing through. I am new to couch surfing and I look forward to building up my references here and use couch surfing in my own travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As someone who travels a lot myself, I would like to start stepping away from youth hostels and sharing experiences with people who live in the area. On the flip side, as a traveler, I am happy to host people who are in the same position while visiting Almaty.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am new to CouchSurfing, so welcome to my home! I love hearing travelers' stories! My apartment is on the 17th floor of a new(ish) building. While I am not located in the heart of Almaty, the downtown area is easily (and cheaply) accessible from my apartment. At night, the area is on the quieter side, which is nice.
