About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Deepening love. Expanding knowledge.

ABOUT ME

I recently came back to AZ from a year wandering around the world - While out there, I was stunned by the kind of goodness I came across. I was moved to tears by the generosity of the people I met who otherwise would have remained perfect strangers. I found the line between strangers and family to be a very thin one - and one which blurs completely when you receive another with humility and compassion.
I have always been an optimist, but I never expected to receive such uninhibited kindness. Given the opportunity to do good... people do Amazing good!

And now I am back home, my feet once more on solid ground. I was blessed on my travels - now I want to help other wayfarers in turn. Let's keep the wheel moving!

PHILOSOPHY

We are the measure of our own infinite capacity. The only limit to the good we can do, or the greatness we can be - is just our own fear or laziness. Escape-velocity from these binds is just one step. Take the step and make the decision. Live for goodness. And live great!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a good number of surfing experiences while travelling - and all of them have been fantastic! This seems like the very best forum for people who want to explore the world - not for the museums, parks and national monuments, but to experience and understand the lives and culture of other, like-minded citizens of the World. Now, back at home, I am thoroughly enjoying the other half of the couchsurfing experience.. Hosting! It's such a joy to see the old and familiar with a person who brings fresh eyes to see it with. You are very welcome here!

Interests

I pass my time biking around town, enjoying Prescott's coffee shops and local music scene, reading, making music (on instruments or anything else that makes a novel sound), writing, juggling anything that I find 3 of, cooking, running, trekking, meditating, reveling in the out-doors, hitch-hiking, thinking, musing, pondering & wondering. And if it poses a daunting or unreasonable challenge..all the better!
