About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 yr old English guy who is currently in the middle of a 12 month journey around the world. Started in Nov 2007. So far, been to India, S.E Asia (Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore) and Australia. Next up are New Zealand, The Cook Islands and West Coast USA. Before starting to travel, I did a PGCE teacher training course in Geography. Teaching Geography is what I've got to look forward to when I get back to the UK! Should be fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of old music (Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen, etc) and also some new stuff, but not as much!

As for movies, Dances with Wolves is a favourite of mine; The Man Who Would be King too.I also enjoy action movies and a James Bond film is always good fun. Comedies are great too. The one that's coming to mind at the minute is The Naked Gun! That movie is just so stupid, but makes you laugh so hard!

Don't watch that much TV anymore, but a couple of things stand out from a few years back

1) The Office (British version with Ricky Gervais), which is a fantastic comedy, probably the best I've ever seen. If you haven't seen this, you're missing out! Comic genius!

2) Planet Earth, a BBC documentary series about yeah, you guessed it, Planet Earth! This is the most beautiful documentary I've ever seen and gives you a whole new appreciation of the planet we live on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bathing in hot springs at 4500 metres in the Indian Himalayas

Learning to dive in The Perhentian Islands, just off the coast of peninsular Malaysia. This was amazing!

440ft bungy jump in New Zealand

Countries I’ve Visited

Countries I’ve Lived In
