About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm laidback, and love to meet new people and see new places. By day I teach English at a community college in Houston, and by night I pursue my passion of dance. I perform with a professional Modern dance company, and I write about dance for several Houston publications.
PHILOSOPHY
I think the world is a big place, and a beautiful one if you are able to look past the nitty gritty. I think you can never have too many friends; it takes a multitude of perspective and opinions to make fully rounded worldview.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people, and I love to travel, but I have to so on a budget.
Interests
Dance consumes most of my life when I'm not working. When I'm not in rehearsal, I'm taking technique class in Modern, West African, and ballet, or I'm watching dance and writing about it for Houston Press, Houstonia Magazine, and Dance Source Houston.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I quit my corporate office job when I was twenty-five and bought a ticket to Delhi, India. I had no itinerary and no set plans, and I ended up traveling through the country for five-and-a-half months. I came back enlightened sure enough, but didn't have a job, but now I'm happy working several part-time gigs and making all the pieces of the puzzle work together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know a lot about Houston, and I always show people a good time. Aside from a comfortable home, I'm more than happy to show you around town and take you to my favorite night spots. I'm also good at listening. I like a good story, so if you have something interesting say, or if you just want need someone to mind dump on, that would be me. I'm hardly ever offended by anything or anyone, and am more than happy to share perspective.
