About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm developing an Oakland based nonprofit that teaches young people music and filmmaking skills as tools for self-empowerment, developing leadership skills, and building community.

ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and I especially love hosting travelers because it allows me to experience the beauty of other places and cultures. The Bay Area has been my home for the past 13 years and there are so many fun, unique things to see and do here! I'd be happy to share my favorites with you.

Professionally, I'm a teacher and a musician/music producer.

When I have free time, I generally like to go out hiking (there are some amazing views in the Bay Area) or to local events.

I love learning about other people's cultures and life experiences, which I why I love Couchsurfing and hosting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, laughs, stories. I generally adapt to any given social situation pretty easily. I really like people and it's usually pretty easy to find common ground with someone and build from there.
