ABOUT ME

I currently am living in Spearfish, South Dakota working hard brewing up about 70 barrels of craft beer a week at Crow Peak Brewing, on top of that i proud myself on being what i am sure is the united states youngest brewer. i started working in a production brewery at 19 and i dont plan on stopping! i was born and raised right here in the black hills and only lived outside of the area while attending Brewlab in Sunderland, England. When i am traveling i am generally on the road to see a concert these days, though opportunity to be on the road playing concerts come and go. Music has always been a huge part of my life, like, its literally has consumed my life at this point. but im pretty much ok with this.

I am a pretty relaxed human being, i think getting upset is silly, so i generally will get along with the entire population....uhhhhhh...what else.....

At the moment i do not have a couch open, i hope to begin hosting soon enough. but i am open to having a pint with anyone here in Spearfish at Crow Peak. but, i take any opportunity i get to sleep on someone else couch! in hopes i can soon return the favor!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started Couchsurfing in April of 2011, and i dont have any plan on stopping anytime soon.

Music, Craft beer, Film, most fine arts, being around nice people History, backpacking, trees, not being around mean people, clouds, the entire earth, sciences, Norse mythology, and cute tiny kittens you can hold in your hand and keep you from doing anything for a couple hours.

Música, películas y libros

Movies kick a bunch of ass. i have a few that come to mind i can watch over and over again. 127 Hours, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Scott Pilgrim, electric apricot, red state, the dark knight trilogy, LORD OF THE RINGS.

i can talk music of all varieties for hours. I have been a metalhead for as long as i can remember, but i am a metal snob, modern metal has destroyed what i love, and thats a bummer. but i also listen to punk, indie, folk....classical. anyways, to list a few of the bands i enjoy a lot ...uh, here. Iron Maiden, Primus, Graveyard, Kreator, 3 Inches of blood, krallice, The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Beirut, GODSPEED YOU!, pallbearer, fleet foxes, The New Pornographers, most Damon Albarns work....anyways, we can talk about this when we meet! i can go on for hours.

Books: My Favorite books of all time are "The lord of the rings" books, i read them at least once a year, and will do that for the rest of my life. though i just stared on the game of thrones books. I love ww2 novels, norse mythology, and for some odd reason, russian history around 1800-1930. and i am an avid comic reader. Batman, thor, and the walking dead are what i pick up from the comic shop on a regular basis.

I survived walking (very fast) through the London riots of 2011 while backpacking....wrong place wrong time i suppose eh? but survived!
