ABOUT ME

I'm a lecturer at the University of Melbourne. I previously was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Newcastle. I'm an American but I've been living in Australia for about two years now.

PHILOSOPHY

I think nuance is pretty under-appreciated. I try to see both sides of an issue whenever I can. Too many people, even very smart people, are quick to dismiss something as "dumb" and not see the merits in the idea.
