About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find greater work/life flexibility --- and to snowboard
ABOUT ME
I'm relatively new to the travel game and am playing catch-up, one day at a time. I've been to Poland where my family is from, and also Germany and Amsterdam. Last year I traveled to Costa Rica and hiked the continental divide. Mostly I am interested in the colloquialisms of the gentry, the average working day to day lives of people in the places I visit. Not looking for the elaborate or the spectacular; looking to incorporate different styles of living with my own (i.e., Siesta! If we could all be as lucky...)
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others the way I would like to be treated. The more I learn the more there is to learn.
I work my job to live my life, not the other way around. My career is meant to support my lifestyle. Recognize the difference between the ego and the self.
Stop. Think. Speak. The naysayers derive power from harping on the negative; ignore them with all your might. I am 85% libertarian.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
John was a great guy and I learned a lot from him. It was good having a buddy with me on my first apartment!

Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm. Since I'm an E.E. I'm good at building computers and hooking them up to networks. I'm a Linux geek also. Maybe I could help you with your network? I have taught some guitar / bass guitar lessons, as well as introductory snowboarding. I can also teach American card drinking games! Heh heh
