ABOUT ME

I like to go places I've never been and do things I've never done. I hike and ride bikes and write in between, I swim in oceans and bathe in creeks (although I appreciate showers as well) and I'll play you a song if you buy me a beer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Waco with the Texas State Cycling Team and twice in Arkansas, but both occasions were on a friend's account. Some of the nicest people I've ever met.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like most kinds of music, from Serge Gainsbourg to Ratatat and back again. My favorite movie, at least right now, is Waking Life (dir. Richard Linklater). My favorite book, another difficult decision, is probably either Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (Pirsig) or Infinite Jest (DF Wallace). I chose these two books because I can read them time and time again and get something new every time.

The sun rose over Lake Fort Smith, first in tendrils above the mountains and then in a shimmering orb. I could see my breath, I pulled the blanket over my shoulders. With steam rising from the mug cradled close to my face, I sat there until the day thawed. And then I continued on my way.
