About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit all states in Europe, before I turn.. I don't know.. At some point :)

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing guy, who always enjoy a new challenge. I love learning about new cultures, including trying to speak as much of the native language of the country i'm visiting.
Also I love travelling, especially by letting my thumb decide which way to go, and with a tent in your backpack, no schedule is needed - that's life.

PHILOSOPHY

You can easily travel (almost) anywhere without planning anything. With couchsurfing, hitchhiking, dumbsterdiving, whatever, suddenly everything is possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been surfing a lot, and moving to Copenhagen in the summer, Im ready to host a lot of people myself. Now I know how I like to be hosted, and can give that back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When travelling a lot around Europe, I encountered a lot of different and fantastic people through couchsurfing.
These experiences made me certain that I wanted to start hosting people as soon as I arrived home.

Interests

Listening to music can bring up a sudden rush of happiness, that nothing else can give. This is also why I love going to music festivals, where the whole package combined, simply makes me feel wonderful.

As i already said, travelling and experiencing different cultures are also something I live for.

And at last, football is one of my big passions. Almost can't think of anything better to do on a sunday afternoon, than to watch football, have a cold beer, and really relax. Even though I know it doesn't mean a thing, once you're emotionally attached, there's no turning back :)

Music, Movies, and Books

If I should describe my favorite music it "could" be in these categories:
For chilling:
- Hip/hop: Hocus Pocus, Dr. Dre, Common, The Roots etc.
- Reggae: Bob & Damian Marley etc.
- Oldies: Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Tom Waits,

For Partying:
- Electronic: The Prodigy, Justice, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, C2C etc.
- Jamiroquai, Sly & the Family Stone, Michael Jackson, and just anything funky.

And the good old I always return to!:
- Pink Floyd, Queen, The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Faith No More, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Rammstein

Books:
I like to read classics like Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" or Jon Krakauer's "Into the Wild" before or while travelling, to boost my longing for being out there.

But all in all, I really enjoy walking into an unknown bookstore, buying a book that seems interesting, and afterwards exchanging it with a new book in the next city I get to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been hitchhiking around in more than 15 different countries in Europe - this includes some of the best experiences I ever had!

Went to school in Lofoten in Norway for a half year, climbing and skiing, where I really got to test what I was actually psysically and mentally capable of.

Also I love live concerts, and this is definately some of my biggest moments:
Roger Waters - The Wall
Eric Clapton
Rolling Stones
Sting & The Police
Bob Dylan & Marc Knopfler
Faith No More
Alice in Chains
Rammstein
Bruce Springsteen
etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I love travelling, I love learning about new cultures, languages and typical food.
This is also what I wanna pass on to people visiting me in Denmark.
